Yesterday, I preached on how God walks with us through suffering and how His power in our lives helps us by reorienting our priorities, building our fellowship with Christ, and reminding us of our future hope…even through suffering. But it left me thinking about all those who have thought or have been taught that if they just pray enough, Jesus will always make their problems go away. Try telling that to Paul and many of the other apostles in the New Testament.
